Don’t compete in slogan-shouting, says Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla over opposition protests

Amidst repeated adjournments on Tuesday due to protests by the opposition MPs on several issues, Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla asked the members not to compete with each other in slogan-shouting but to compete in taking up issues related to the people. The lower house witnessed a series of brief adjournments over pandemonium created by opposition members over issues such as the Pegasus spying controversy and the three contentious farm laws.
